01 Account setup

One organisation per client, any number of projects below it.

Above the projects sits the organisation. In practice you create one organisation per client and, below it, as many projects as that client has going on. No limits. Everything else on this page happens inside a project, and the line between your clients runs above that.

An account with restricted permissions takes no paid seat. You pay for your team, not for the clients reading along.

  1. 01 Any number of projects per organisation and any number of organisations
  2. 02 A project belongs to exactly one organisation. Your clients' data stays apart
  3. 03 You invite your client yourself, with permissions you set per area
  4. 04 Someone who should only search and read gets exactly that, and no button for creating tasks
  5. 05 Permissions are per area and have three levels: no access, read only, or write. Separately for tasks, notes, documents, documentation, conversations and chat
// Step by step

How this works

01
One organisation per client

The organisation is the dividing line. Everything below it belongs to that one client, and none of it shows up with another.

02
Projects below it

As many as that client has undertakings. Neither the number of projects nor the number of organisations is capped.

03
Invite people

Rights are granted per area and in three steps: no access, read, or write. Separately for tasks, notes, documents, documentation, meetings and chat.

04
Let the client read along

Whoever should only search and read gets exactly that. No button to create anything, no view into areas you have not opened up.

// Honestly

What it does not do

Two limits that follow from that separation.

  • A project belongs to exactly one organisation. A shared project between two clients does not exist, and that is deliberate.
  • Rights apply per area, not per individual task. Whoever may read tasks reads this project's tasks, not a selection of them.
// Frequently asked

What people ask at this point

Does a client account cost me a paid seat?
No. An account with restricted rights takes no paid seat. You pay for your team, not for the people reading along.
How do I keep internal things away from the client?
Through the areas. Notes can be set to "no access" and tasks to "read", so the client sees the state of their matter and not what you noted about it internally.
What if a client has several undertakings?
Then they get several projects under the same organisation. Rights are granted per project, so a client need not be allowed the same thing in all of theirs.
