How this works
Either you take the package and hold no contract with an AI provider yourself, or you store your own key with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or at an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
Inside the package, Google, OpenAI and Mistral do the computing today. Which of them is your decision, not ours, and you make it by jurisdiction, not only by price.
Switching is a setting, not a migration. What you have done until then stays where it is.

What it does not do
Two things that come with the freedom to choose.
- We run no model of our own. The computing is done by the provider you chose, and the responsibility for it visibly sits with them.
- Without your release nobody computes anything. As delivered the AI is off, for the whole organisation.
What people ask at this point
- Why the choice at all? Surely one good provider would do.
- Because the best provider for your team depends on where your data is allowed to be processed. A team with public-sector clients decides differently than an agency, and both should be able to use the same tool.
- What happens when a provider changes its terms?
- Then you switch. That is what the choice is for, which is why it is not a one-off setup question but a setting you throw while running.
- Is my data used for training?
- Jurisdiction and training use are written out in your data processing agreement. Not as an assurance on a marketing page, but in the contract you sign.
