Configuring the view: board & table
Table and board are two presentations of the same ticket list — not separate features. You switch between them at any time, and your settings apply only to you.
Switch the presentation
- Open a project's ticket list.
- Toggle at the top between Table and Kanban.
- On the board, drag tickets between columns to change their status.
The board groups by a select field (usually the status). If no such field exists, the table stays active.
Keys on the board
Tab enters the board once, on the card you last visited. From there:
| Key | Effect |
|---|---|
| ↑ ↓ | the card above or below; above the first the column head, below the last "+ Ticket" |
| ← → | the neighbouring column, at the same height. If that column is shorter, its last card |
| Enter | open the ticket in the lane |
| Space | pick the card up and drop it |
| Escape | put a carried card back, otherwise close the lane |
| Home / End | the column's first or last card |
You move a picked-up card with the arrows; the column it is over gets an amber frame. The card with the ring is where you stand; the tinted card is the one open in the lane. Both can be the same card. A screen reader announces ticket, column and position at every step.
Choose columns
At the far right of the table's header row sits a sliders icon with the number of chosen columns. A click opens the column choice: a list of every field this list can show. A tick means "show", the order means "how important". No. and title are always there, so they do not appear in the list.
- When the width runs out for every chosen field, say because a ticket is open on the right, the top fields stay columns. What sits below that is dropped, unless you have pinned it: then its value moves into a line under the title. A thin line in the list shows from which field on the width runs out; it moves as you drag or narrow the window.
- Pin with the pin on the right of a row. No. and title are always pinned and cannot be changed. A pin belongs to the view just as the column choice does, and it survives unticking a column and ticking it again later.
- Dragging orders. Grab a row and pull it up so its field stays a column even when space is short. By keyboard: focus the row, then Alt with arrow up or down.
- The choice belongs to the view and applies at once. With the tab on "All tickets" it applies to your base view; with a saved view open it applies to that view. Every tick and every move is saved right away, there is nothing to confirm. A view someone shared with you read-only shows its columns but takes no tick.
- A new view takes over the columns the list shows when it is created and stands alone from then on. To bring every view of your own in this project onto one set, use "apply to all views" at the bottom of the column choice.
The fields in the ticket header are set separately via Customize detail view: what appears in the header of an open ticket, such as assignment, time tracking, creation date, followers, sub-tasks, or custom fields.
Time tracked and billing status as columns
Two of the available columns come from time tracking:
- Time tracked: the total of every time entry on this ticket. A click opens the time list, filtered to exactly this ticket.
- Billing status: how far those entries are in billing: Without billing, In billing, Billed, or Mixed when several states occur at once.
Both columns only appear in the picker if you are allowed to see the project's time. If you may only see your own, the column counts only yours.
The kanban board is not available on mobile devices. There you work in the table view.
Personal display settings
Two more settings don't apply per project but to you across all your organisations. You'll find them in your personal Settings:
- Comment order (Tickets area): chronological (oldest first, default) or reverse (newest first).
- Date and time format (Date/Time area): relative (default, e.g. "3 days ago"), German format, international format, or a custom format — optionally per area (ticket header, large list, compact list, activity logs, comments).
