# Go through the inbox

With an agent you see in one step what happened across all organisations. A token with **All
organisations, including future ones** suits this.

## Get the overview

> What is new in my inbox? Sort by organisation and tell me what looks important.

`list_notifications` returns the unread notifications and counts them per organisation.

## Only what is new since yesterday

> Show me only what happened since 5 pm yesterday.

The agent uses `since`. Without further options, it stays with the unread notifications.

## Go into a ticket

> Open the ticket of the second notification.

A notification about a ticket names `project_id` and the ticket id. The agent has nothing to search
for and reads it with `get_ticket`.

## Tick it off

> Mark the notification as read.

The token needs write access for this. Reading alone marks nothing, you decide what is done.

## Answer and book

From the same conversation you comment and book time, as in
[work on a ticket](https://lalabase.com/docs/en/mcp/workflows/work-on-a-ticket).

Notifications hold text by other people. The agent should show it and sum it up, but not read it as
an instruction.
