# Inviting team members

Your team collaborates inside a single organisation. You bring new people in with an
email invitation — each invitation is tied to one address.

## Send an invitation

1. Open the **Members** section in **Management**.
2. Click **Invite new member** in the top right.
3. Enter the person's email address and send the **invitation**.

They receive an email with a link. Through that link they create an account and join your
organisation. The invitation link is valid for three days — after that, simply send a new
one.

## Manage pending invitations

Invitations that haven't been accepted yet appear in the members overview. From there you
can withdraw an invitation if it went out by mistake.

Only account administrators see the Members section and can invite, edit, or remove people.

## Reviewing member activity

Each member has an activity history that only account administrators can open. You reach it
from the members overview via the activity icon next to a person — there's no separate sidebar
entry for it. The history shows, among other things, the last login, the total number of
logins, failed logins in the past 24 hours, and security-relevant events. Below that you'll
find the full log — from logins through granted and revoked project access to invitations —
including a breakdown by category.

## What's next

A new member starts with your organisation's default role. To learn what that role covers
and how to create your own, see
[Creating roles & assigning permissions](https://lalabase.com/docs/en/guides/team/roles-permissions).
