# Inbox & notifications

The inbox gathers everything happening in your projects — new comments, assignments, status
changes, and mentions. It keeps the overview in a single place.

## Reading notifications

1. Open the **Inbox** in the sidebar. By default you only see unread items.
2. Click an entry — the related ticket opens in the side pane on the right, without a page
   change.
3. Use **Mark read** or **Archive** to clear items. Select several at once to handle them in
   bulk.

## Filtering and bundling

Narrow the list by **status** (unread, read, archived), project, or type. All updates for
one ticket collapse into a single row, with a counter showing how many there are — so a
single busy ticket never floods your inbox.

## Choosing what reaches you

Under **Settings** you decide what watched tickets notify you about — status changes,
priority, comments — each in-app and by email. Tickets assigned to you are watched
automatically.

## When you leave a project

Once someone takes you off a project, your inbox goes quiet for it. New notifications from
that project no longer reach you, the older ones disappear from the list, and emails about
them stop as well.

Nothing is lost along the way. Come back to the project and your entries are there again,
and the tickets you were watching or had muted behave exactly as they did before. The same
applies when you leave an organisation.
