# Organisation accent colour

When your account is a member of several organisations, a fixed **accent colour** helps you
tell the active organisation apart at a glance. The colour is a property of the organisation and
applies to all of its members — unlike the personal light/dark mode, which everyone chooses for
themselves.

## The three settings

- **Automatic** — the system assigns a colour that differs from your other organisations.
  Recommended if you'd rather not think about it.
- **Specific colour** — you pick a shade from the palette yourself.
- **Off** — no accent colour.

Your choice takes effect immediately. If instead you want to change the whole look of the app for

independent of the accent colour.

The accent colour is set by account administrators.
